Too Busy To “Know”Posted: April 22, 2011
So very often one can stay super busy – avoiding the real interior life. There is this, that, and the other thing that “must” be done, we so often tell ourselves. Most “busy” people would never admit that “keeping busy” is their way to avoid the deeper levels of Life. They may even think they know all the answers. I doubt that they even have discovered the questions.
May people no doubt don’t even know they are running right by what is most important — the moment. If people do know, they then know they are afraid to go within. At times, we have all been “they” – haven’t we! What a shame. What a waste of a life when it is never lived from within its core. One can so easily come to the other end of living, and never have lived. It is often so very difficult to – – – be still and know.
Reflect: What is this photo saying? What question, questions does it evoke, stir up within? What does it tell you about YOU; about YOUR relationship to the universe; about time and the quality of how you are using it; about this very moment – only here once, never to return; about ultimate meaning; about why are YOU here now, this moment?
